The Feather collection wigs are all 100% handmade, are of the highest quality, with no uneven edges or scratchy surfaces. All materials used provide a soft, silky touch to the skin to keep the scalp from being irritated.

100% Hand-Tied Cap

Each hair fibre is stitched into the cap strand by strand to produce a lighter more comfortable wig, with better ventilation than a machine made or partial hand-tied wig. This construction gives natural hair movement and the illusion of hair growing from the scalp.

Monofilament Top

The monofilament top adds movement and creates the illusion of natural growth at the crown. The double monofilament layer makes the wig much softer on the scalp and mimicks natural skin tone for a totally natural look. The hair appears to be growing out of a real scalp and can be brushed in any direction and more sharply parted on either side of the head, or down the middle, than with a conventional wefted cap wig.  

Lace Front Construction

The superfine lace front provides an undetectable front hairline. The wig can be styled in a variety of ways, even off the face, for a realistic, natural look.

Hand-tied wigs are recognised as the highest quality wig product, and are more expensive than standard wefted cap wigs. This design is especially good for individuals  with total hair loss.

How can I be sure that I am ordering a wig in the right colour?

The wig colours you see on your computer may vary to the actual colour of the wig you receive because of the way your screen is presenting the images, so it is a really good idea to first order a colour ring of the actual synthetic hair. Colour rings are produced by each wig manufacturer so please be sure to order the right one.

Your synthetic hair wig or hair piece is easy to care for and does not need to be restyled after washing.

Wash your wig every 2-3  weeks or as required if wearing constantly or applying products.

Just follow these simple steps:

	comb/brush	Use a wide toothed comb or brush to gently remove any tangles working gradually from ends to base
	shampoo	Mix a small amount of synthetic hair shampoo (cap/teaspoonful) in a bowl of cool water large enough to submerge your wig in Soak your wig for 5 minutes Swirl gently NEVER USE HOT WATER or RUB when washing
	rinse	Next rinse out the shampoo under cool running water
	condition	Immerse wig in a diluted solution of DImples Wig Conditioner. Leave to soak for 5 minutes. Remove from solution and squeeze out excess water gently and blot carefully with a towel DO NOT RUB OR WRING
	dry	Leave to air dry on a folding wig stand or tall can of hairspray Never place a wet wig on a mannequin or foam head as this will stretch the cap
	style	Once dry simply shake your wig out and use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style your synthetic wig Define layers with Synthetic-Safe styling products

If ordering a wig from our website please select your wig, choose your colour from the swatches or dropdown list, then click 'Buy Now' . Delivery is free within NZ for wig orders placed online.

Ordering by telephone
When you are ready to place your order you can do so online or by calling our office during normal business hours on 07 552 5806, where helpful friendly staff will assist. Delivery is free within NZ on wig orders placed by telephone.

Payment
When proceeding to checkout on our website you will see several methods of payment:

• Cheque
• Bank Transfer
• Government Subsidy

If you suffer from Temporary or Permanent hair loss you will most probably be eligible for a Government Subsidy (Wigs and Hairpiece Service Payment), in which case please select "Government Subsidy" and we will make contact with you to assist.

If you already have a Wigs and Hairpiece Service Payment client number then you can:

1. Pay using a method of your choice and process the claim yourself
   or
2. Enter your client number in the box and we will process your order and make the claim on your behalf (cashless transaction)

Delivery
We carry a good range in stock but as there are hundreds of wigs and hundreds of colours to choose from we may have to order in.
Items not held in stock will normally be despatched within 10 working days of your payment being received, but because we source our products from overseas there can sometimes be unforeseen delays to items on order, we will advise you of this.

Free delivery on wigs applies on orders placed through our website or by telephone to any location within NZ.

Returns
Please inspect all items on receipt and let us know of any problem by phone 07 552 5806 or email within 3 working days of receipt.

For hygiene reasons we do not exchange or refund purchases of wigs or hairpieces unless the wrong product has been sent or the product is defective.

We highly recommend you use our Colour Ring Service to ensure you get the colour you expect as onscreen colours can vary depending on monitor settings and lead to disappointment!
